Job Type: Contract (Approx. 12 Months)
Schedule: Fully Onsite | Monday–Friday

We are seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician to support daily IT operations within a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Blythewood, SC. This role will provide first- and second-level technical support to users across the plant, assisting with hardware, software, printers, and basic network troubleshooting.

This position supports hundreds of users across office and production environments and requires someone comfortable working in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate has experience in plant IT or industrial environments and enjoys solving technical problems while providing strong customer support.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support through the IT ticketing system for end users across the facility

• Troubleshoot desktop hardware, software, and operating system issues

• Configure, deploy, and image laptops and desktop computers for new employees

• Decommission equipment and prepare devices for departing employees

• Troubleshoot and maintain printers, including HP, Xerox, and Zebra printers

• Support email setup, file permissions, and general system access issues

• Perform basic network troubleshooting, including cabling and connectivity checks

• Assist with connecting to network switches using console cables when needed

• Support systems including Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Azure, and Oracle

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of IT support or desktop support experience

• Experience supporting IT systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred

• Strong troubleshooting skills with desktop hardware and software

• Basic networking knowledge including cabling and connectivity troubleshooting

• Experience supporting printers and peripheral devices

• Ability to work onsite in a hands-on technical support role

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred

Preferred Experience

• Oracle system troubleshooting

• Azure or Active Directory environments

• Zebra printer support

• Laptop imaging and device deployment experience
