About the role

We are seeking a summer intern for our Trading Team, to gain hands-on experience in the ETF industry. As an intern, you will work closely with the Trading Team on daily tasks and projects and across various departments to gain exposure to our platform, investment processes, and operational framework. This internship will provide valuable opportunities to gain insights into both the financial markets, the technical aspects of managing ETFs, as well as the major stakeholders in the ETF value chain.

What you'll do

• Support the Trading, PM, and Middle Office teams with daily tasks and projects related to our ETF offerings.
• Assist in the management and trading in ETF portfolios, gaining an understanding of relevant factors across a wide array of underlying assets.
• Contribute to projects focused on growth initiatives and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with different departments to support the development of new processes or enhance existing ones.
• Gain exposure to financial modeling, trading analytics, and data management tools.

What we're looking for

• A passion for financial markets, especially ETFs, and a curiosity about emerging trends and strategies.
• Strong financial acumen, with relevant coursework or experience in finance, economics, or related fields.
• Technological skills, such as proficiency in Excel, python, SQL, financial modeling, or data analysis tools, are a huge plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle manage multiple tasks with deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on-site in Oak Brook, IL, 5 days a week for the duration of the internship.
• Strong work ethic and preferably pursuing a degree in finance, economics, business, math, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in ETFs and financial markets through coursework, projects, or extracurricular activities.
