About This Position

Description:

Join Our Growing Team!

We’re expanding and looking for a skilled Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Inspector/Operator who’s ready to bring their experience and passion for precision to our team. If you enjoy solving problems, working with great people, and making sure every part meets the highest standards, you’ll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior CMM Inspector, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our machined parts meet customer and industry expectations. Your day-to-day work will help keep our operations running smoothly and our quality top-tier.

In this role, you will:
  • Use a variety of inspection machines, tools, and equipment to check materials and products
  • Perform detailed inspections on machined parts throughout the process
  • Read and interpret technical prints, drawings, and processes
  • Program and operate CMM equipment to verify features and dimensions
  • Work closely with machinists, assemblers, and finishers to correct out-of-tolerance conditions
  • Jump in on other quality-related tasks as needed
Who You’ll Work With

You’ll report to our Quality Manager and Lead Shift Operator, with clear direction on assignments but plenty of room to work independently. You’ll collaborate closely with team members across the shop, helping ensure every project meets our quality standards.

If you’re ever asked to step in as a lead, you may also help guide coworkers and support their progress.

What You’re Responsible For
  • Maintaining quality across all phases of your assigned batches
  • Proper use, care, and accuracy of the inspection equipment you work with
  • Supporting positive teamwork and communication throughout the shop
Requirements: What You Bring to the Team

We’re looking for someone with strong technical skills and a genuine eye for detail:

  • Experience: At least 3 years in aerospace/defense machining and inspection
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of quality methods, machining processes, assembly, and deburring
  • Strong ability to read mechanical blueprints and apply GD&T
What We Offer
  • Competitive pay + growth opportunities
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company support
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Short-term and long-term disability
  • Additional employee perks and benefits

If you’re ready to join a growing company where your skills truly matter—and where you’ll be surrounded by people who care about doing great work—we’d love to meet you.
