Slitter Operator (2nd shift, Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm) - $17/hr at Shawmut Park Ave LLC – Burlington, North Carolina

This role is responsible for efficiently regrading fabric to produce quality rolls, to meet customer expectations and shipping demands. In addition, the individual incorporates safety into his/her work culture, to maintain a safe working environment overall.

Responsibilities

• Meet set quota for production standards.
• Regrade fabric.
• Verify rolls based on Standard Operating procedure.
• Remove defects from rolls while minimizing waste.
• Effectively label each roll with a ticket.
• Ensure proper wrapping of each roll based on fabric style.
• Operate equipment to minimize downtime.
• Set up equipment based on Standard Operating Procedure.
• Pack rolls based on Standard Operating Procedure and distribute to correct holding location based on size.
• Perform other duties as required.

Education

• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.

Experience

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Physical

• Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
