Endoscopy Technician at Citizens Memorial – Bolivar, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to join the Surgical Services Department at the main hospital in Bolivar, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies, and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: The Department of Surgical Services provides a comprehensive range of surgical and endoscopic procedures through a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach. Care is delivered across all phases of the surgical experience: pre-admission, preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

A typical day includes:

• Sets up appropriate equipment for procedures and ensures necessary supplies are available
• Assists with pre-op preparation of patients
• Transports specimens following procedures
• Takes patients to post-op rooms, places on monitors, and applies oxygen
• Cleans and maintains endoscopy equipment per manufacturer's recommendations; sanitizes work areas

Job Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a CNA is required
• Skills: Patient care
• Licensure/Certification: CNA certification required

The position is: Part-time, days - 8am-4:30pm, 20 hours per week.
