About This Position

The Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) serves as a strategic partner, force multiplier, and operational integrator across the Growth organization. This role enables the CGO to operate at maximum effectiveness by translating priorities into action, driving alignment, and ensuring the business runs with clarity and precision.

This is not a coordination role. The CoS ensures that what reaches the CGO and leadership team is decision-ready. Clear, consistent, and actionable.

The CoS works across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Operations to accelerate decision-making, improve execution, and strengthen operating rhythm across a global commercial organization.


Core ResponsibilitiesExecutive Partnership & Strategic AlignmentServe as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CGO, anticipating needs and preparing for key decisions, meetings, and strategic momentsTranslate priorities into clear operating plans, ensuring alignment across the leadership teamIdentify gaps, misalignment, or unclear ownership and drive resolution before executive escalationRepresent the CGO in meetings and forums, ensuring continuity of intent and follow-throughOperating Cadence & Business RhythmDesign and manage the operating cadence for the Growth organization including staff meetings, forecast calls, QBRs, MBRs, and planning cyclesShift leadership forums from reporting-oriented to decision-oriented discussionsEnsure meetings are high quality and outcomes-driven through strong agendas, pre-reads, and clear next stepsDrive accountability across the leadership team and track execution against commitmentsStrategic Programs & Cross-Functional ExecutionLead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives aligned to Growth priorities such as go-to-market transformation, forecasting improvements, and customer experience initiativesEstablish governance models, track progress, mitigate risk, and ensure delivery of critical programsCoordinate across functions to remove friction and accelerate executionBusiness Insights & Decision SupportPartner with Finance, Operations, and Strategy to synthesize business performance into clear insightsEnsure data, forecasts, and initiatives are presented with recommendations, tradeoffs, and risks, ready for executive decisionConnect disparate inputs into a cohesive view of the business and highlight what matters mostCommunication & Leadership AlignmentAct as an extension of the CGO’s voice, crafting clear, consistent communication across the organizationPrepare executive-level presentations, board-ready materials, and strategic narrativesBuild strong relationships across functions to ensure alignment and effective collaborationOrganizational Effectiveness & Team PerformanceSupport leadership team cohesion and effectiveness through clarity of priorities, roles, and decision frameworksDrive continuous improvement in how the organization operates, communicates, and executesReinforce a culture of accountability, transparency, and high performanceOperational Rigor & Business ManagementPartner with Finance and Operations on planning cycles, budget tracking, and performance managementImprove visibility into pipeline, forecasting, and execution metrics without owning underlying data systemsEnsure the business operates with discipline, consistency, and clarity

Required Experience10–15+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, sales or commercial finance, or Chief of Staff rolesExperience supporting or partnering with a senior executive in a high-growth, complex environmentStrong ability to synthesize information, connect dots, and translate complexity into clear decisionsExcellent communication skills with strong executive presence and credibilityProven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authorityComfortable working with data and metrics, with the ability to question assumptions and interpret business performanceHigh level of judgment, discretion, and ownershipWhat Success Looks LikeThe CGO operates at higher altitude with fewer bottlenecksLeadership meetings are focused, efficient, and decision-orientedCross-functional initiatives move faster with fewer breakdownsThe organization is aligned around clear priorities and execution plansData and insights are consistently translated into action
