Guest Experience & Service
Warmly greet guests and create an inviting first impression aligned with Fairlane’s hospitality standards.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using hotel POS systems and clearly communicate with the kitchen and bar.
Deliver food and drinks promptly while maintaining exceptional presentation and service standards.
Provide personalized recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
Build rapport with guests, anticipate needs, answer questions, and resolve concerns thoughtfully and professionally.
Assist with managing reservations and seating flow when needed.
Operational Excellence
Handle payments and cash transactions accurately, following company cash handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
Bus tables, reset dining areas, and ensure a polished, well‑organized environment.
Support the kitchen or bar team during peak periods as needed.
Assist with room service or hotel event service when required.
Team Collaboration
Communicate effectively with the F&B team, chefs, managers, and hotel departments.
Uphold Fairlane Hotel service standards and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
Participate in daily pre‑shift meetings, ongoing training, and menu education.
Experience & Qualifications
Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant, hotel, or upscale dining environment strongly preferred.
Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast.
Strong understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety practices.
Excellent guest service and communication skills.
Experience with upselling and enhancing guest experiences in a boutique or luxury setting.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently during high‑volume periods.
Basic math skills for accurate billing and cash handling.
Prior hotel restaurant experience is a plus.
