Operating Room Technician at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Portico Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated and flexible surgical technologist to work with our clinical and non-clinical staff in the operating room.

We are committed to building a cohesive team that is willing to work hard, exhibits professionalism, and is able to respond quickly in emergency situations.

The surgical technologist is responsible for aiding the professional nurse or doctor in giving patient care to patients requiring surgical procedures. Must be able to set up a sterile field, maintain a sterile field, assist/pass instruments to the surgeon during a surgical procedure, anticipate the surgeon's needs while maintaining a safe, orderly mayo and back table.

This position has a flexible shift ranging from 0600 to 0830 depending on the surgery scheduling, so the candidate must be flexible with shift hours.
