About This Position
Willis Knighton GI department is looking for a full-time GI Tech. This individual must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. In addition, the applicant must possess a certificate as a surgical technologist or have at least 2 years' experience as a scrub tech. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate an ability to prepare patients for examinations and procedures and can set and adjust a variety of complex electronic equipment. This person should also be able to handle patients with a high degree of professional ethics, courtesy, patience and safety. If you fit this description, apply now!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited program for a Surgical Technologist or comparable work experience.
- Previous experience in Operating Room or Endoscopy preferred
- BCLS preferred.
