About This Position

The HR Operations Specialist role at Sanuwave, Inc will have a broad impact on the employee life cycle and experience. As a part of a small team, this role will involve a variety of operational responsibilities to support the business. Key components will involve overseeing employee data management, building scalable methodologies and tools, administering critical HR policies and programs, along with general support of the onsite team and building. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

- Implements scalable methodologies, workflows, and tools to optimize HR operations and streamline core processes like onboarding, hiring, terminations, rewards, and timekeeping.

- Performs employee data management and analysis processes to ensure that data is secure and maintained consistently with company policies and privacy regulations.

- Own administration of payroll and benefits including management of vendors/carriers ensuring accuracy of deductions, withholdings, state taxes, enrollments, invoicing, and changes.

- Manage compliance training process and system, including periodic audits to ensure compliance.

- Support employees and managers by implementing seamless workflows optimizing tools to streamline the employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, health/safety, training, engagement, leave of absence, recording keeping, and offboarding.

- Provide recruitment support including drafting job description, posting open positions, supporting the hiring manager and candidates through onboarding.

- Partner with employees to address policy and/or system questions or concerns that arise, including troubleshooting with vendors, as needed.

- Support the overall facilities management, including monitoring daily building operations, addressing concerns, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring projects are completed, as needed.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS  

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or experience.

- 5+ years of HR experience, specifically including HRIS, payroll and benefits administration.

- Advance experience with various HRIS and benefits systems.

- Proficiency in HR analytics, using data to inform decisions.

- Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

- Innovative problem-solving skills will a willingness to try new ideas and fail fast.

- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to engage a group in events or meetings.

- Startup or early-stage product development experience strongly preferred.

- Excellent verbal, written communication, especially with development and quality teams.

- Demonstrated business acumen with the proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
