About This Position

Summary: This position is responsible for receiving and testing returned material.

Essential Functions of the Job: The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform the following:

  • Verify that returned product has a Return Material Authorization number.
  • Verify the return statements are correct.
  • Interface with Quality and Engineering Departments concerning returned materials.
  • Determine if the product is a return to stock or product requiring further evaluation.
  • Examine and perform “end of the line” test to identify product malfunction.
  • Disassemble product, as required, for further analysis of product malfunction.
  • Prepare documentation for all returned goods.
  • Compile and file list of processed returns.
  • Lift or move up to 50 pounds when handling equipment or product.
  • Use the following software when performing this job: MAC-PAC, Microsoft Word and Excel software.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Recommended Education and/or Experience

Associates Degree in Engineering; or minimum one year related experience; or combination of education and related experience.
