With our ongoing growth, we are looking to have a Die Estimator join our team.

Die Estimator Job Description:

• Analyze project specifications, CAD Data and GD&T Requirements to determine the cost and timing of required tooling.
• Gather information from vendors and suppliers as required.
• Prepare and submit detailed proposals and quotations to the Engineering Department.
• Work with engineering, production and sales teams to ensure die estimates are completed in a timely manner.

Die Estimator Requirements:

• A deep understanding of tool and die design and build processes.
• Ability to make detailed strip layouts.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, analyze project requirements and make informed cost estimations.
• Strong math skills for calculations related to cost estimations.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with customers, engineers and production teams.
• 5 years estimating experience.
• 5 years experience in die design and/or die making.
