The River's Edge Hospital Foundation Development Coordinator plays a crucial role within the Foundation and is dedicated to the Mission of the Foundation and River's Edge Hospital. The Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Foundation's operations, including program development, financial management, fund raising, and stakeholder communication. They also create and manage long-term goals, budgets, and operating plans for the programs. This position requires a blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire and manage a team. The Foundation Coordinator works closely with the Foundation board of directors, River's Edge Hospital Administration, staff, volunteers, and external partners to ensure that the Foundation's goals are met and that its mission is being effectively carried out.
Responsibilities and Duties:- Oversee program development and management.
- Develop and implement organizational strategies and policies
- Lead fund raising efforts, including grant writing and donor relations.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders, including community partners, donors, and government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations and legal requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness to improve outcomes.
- Represent the organization at public events, meetings, and conferences.
- Develop marketing and communication strategies to raise public awareness.
- Manage resource allocation to ensure optimal use of funds and materials.
- Bachelor's degree in non-profit management or a related field required.
- 3+ years of experience working with non-profits, fund raising, or non-profit management.
- Demonstrated success in fund raising and grant writing.
- Strong understanding of non-profit financial management.
- Knowledge of legal standards and compliance for non-profits.
- Experience with community engagement and partnership building.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Innovative and creative thinking in program development.
- Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
The River's Edge Hospital Foundation Director will be an employee of River's Edge Hospital and will report to the Chief Experience Officer.
HOURS:
This is a part-time hybrid work-from-home, and on-site position, .5 FTE (No more than 40 hours per pay period).
BENEFITS:
The River's Edge Hospital Foundation Director is eligible to receive Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) at the rate outlined in the River's Edge Hospital ESST policy. This is not a benefit eligible position.
