About This Position
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Department of Pediatrics, a tertiary referral center for Southeast Texas and beyond, invites applications for the position of Developmental - Behavioral Pediatrician - Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. The clinical responsibilities will consist of providing outpatient psychological assessment and intervention services to children and families seeking care at UTMB Department of Pediatrics including the management of children with behavioral and psychological disorders, completing neuropsychological evaluations on children and adolescents, gathering information from educators and parents that assist in determining diagnostic status and appropriate intervention course for children and adolescents, and performing neurodevelopment evaluations on newborns.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate should be a graduate of an approved medical school, have completed an approved residency training program in Pediatrics, and have a Texas Medical License without restrictions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
