The Division of Humanities and Learning Communities is looking to hire Adjunct Faculty to teach for the Global Languages Department.

• Teach in-person Korean courses.
• Teaching various levels and sections of KOR-101 (Elementary Korean I) and KOR-102 (Elementary Korean II).
• Courses are offered fully in-person on campus (Charlestown and Chelsea campuses).

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Korean or a related field.
• Experience teaching various levels and sections of KOR-101 (Elementary Korean I), KOR-102 (Elementary Korean II).
• Evidence of engagement in culturally responsive pedagogies.
• Experience with high-impact teaching and learning practices (examples: undergraduate research, community engagement, critical pedagogies, learning communities).
• Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population.
• Community college teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to teach courses on campus in an in-person setting at BHCC's Charlestown or Chelsea campuses.

Additional Information:

Salary: $1,397 per credit hour.
