About This Position

Hospital Maintenance Worker

Performs daily inspections and maintenance of all plumbing, electrical and heating equipment and general maintenance of the building and grounds.
  • State Boiler Operator license or must obtain within 1 year
  • High school graduate, trade school graduate or equivalent
  • Knowledge of general maintenance techniques and maintenance type of equipment
  • Ability to assess and diagnose faults on complex buildings and equipment
  • Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry is preferred
  • Ability to routinely use maintenance products and solutions
  • Must be able to follow instructions both written and verbal
  • Adapts well to sudden changes
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to respond when on-call, arriving at the hospital no later than 30 minutes from the time the call was received
  • Must be able to travel to any and all CCH owned locations for maintenance work when required/requested
