Service Manager at Williamson Pump & Motor – Epping, New Hampshire

Williamson Pump and Motor is a trusted provider of pump and motor repair, service, and solutions. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our service department, coordinate field and shop operations, and ensure exceptional service delivery to our customers.

Position Summary

The Service Manager will oversee daily service operations, manage technicians, coordinate scheduling, and serve as a key point of contact between customers, technicians, Service Advisors and management. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all service department operations, including shop and field service

Schedule and dispatch technicians efficiently to meet customer and operational needs

Provide technical guidance and support to service technicians

Ensure jobs are completed safely, accurately, on time, and within scope

Communicate with customers regarding service status, timelines, and technical issues

Review service reports, work orders, and documentation for accuracy

Coordinate with parts, sales, and management teams to ensure smooth job execution

Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture

Train, mentor, and evaluate service technicians & Service Advisors

Assist with troubleshooting, problem resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Proven experience in pump & motor equipment service and repair

Previous supervisory or management experience preferred

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities

Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office

Valid driver’s license
