HELP CREATE A FIRST DAY THAT FEELS WELCOMING, CALM, AND CONFIDENT.

POLYWOOD® is looking for a New Hire Welcome Session Facilitator (part time, flexible hours) who enjoys helping others feel comfortable, supported, and set up for success. This role is ideal for a retired teacher, substitute teacher, paraprofessional, or daycare professional who enjoys guiding small groups in a structured, classroom style environment. A key part of this role is helping new team members use basic technology tools.

If you appreciate routine, enjoy answering questions, and take pride in creating an organized and encouraging space, this could be a wonderful fit.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome small groups of new team members and explain simple instructions clearly.
• Help participants sign in and begin their assigned onboarding, including but not limited to: tax forms, i-9s, background checks, etc.
• Guide new hires through basic technology use, including logging in to systems, navigating different operating systems, and using company devices.
• Answer frequently asked questions in a patient and supportive manner.
• Connect with a support team member if an unexpected question arises.
• Ensure each new hire feels comfortable, confident, and ready to begin their journey at POLYWOOD®.

What You Bring:

• Experience in teaching, childcare, tutoring, employee onboarding, or classroom support.
• Confidence using basic technology such as computers, cell phones, and common operating systems.
• Comfort providing clear instructions to a small group in a structured setting.
• A patient, kind, and approachable presence.
• Basic comfort using a computer and cell phone, including helping others log in.
• Availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during daytime hours.
• Appreciation for routine, organization, and consistency.
