Job Summary:

The QC Auditor is responsible for conducting audits of products and processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards. This role involves planning and executing audits, analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and working with production. The auditor plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, minimizing defects, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Audit Planning and Preparation:
• Determine appropriate sample sizes for audits based on AQL tables and lot sizes.
• Gather and review relevant documentation, including product specifications, drawings, and process procedures.
• Audit Execution:
• Conduct audits of products at various stages of production (e.g., incoming shipment, in-process, finished goods).
• Perform visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests to assess product quality.
• Verify compliance with established procedures and work instructions.
• Document audit findings accurately and thoroughly.
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and patterns in quality performance.
• Defect Analysis and Reporting:
• Identify and classify defects according to severity and type.
• Present audit findings to management and QC Supervisor.
