Human Resources Generalist - Temp to Full-Time at Cemen Tech – Indianola, Iowa

About This Position
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
More specifically, the person will:
• Assist the Recruitment Business Partner and HR Business Partner in identifying current and future staffing needs
• Support the execution of recruiting strategies, including job postings, sourcing, and candidate outreach
• Screen resumes and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
• Maintain candidate pipelines and update records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Assist in developing and updating job descriptions to align with business needs
• Support recruitment marketing efforts, including job boards, social media, and career page updates
• Participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and other talent acquisition initiatives
• Help ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and follow-up
• Assist with onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, scheduling, and orientation coordination
• Support HR Business Partner initiatives such as employee engagement, training coordination, and policy communication
• Assist with HR reporting and tracking metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate activity
• Maintain HR records and assist with compliance-related documentation
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team
• Assist with special HR projects and other duties as assigned

EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE – COMPUTER SKILLSAssociates or bachelor’s degree strongly preferredEntry level HR Experience, with an emphasis on staffingUnderstanding of full cycle recruitingFamiliarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databasesThorough knowledge of labor legislationStrong communication and negotiation skills with ability to interact with all levels of leadership, including verbal, written and interpersonal.A self-starter who can work within a team as well as independently, with or without supervision.Must have a high degree of professionalism, energy, and flexibility. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as the ability to learn required systems.
