About the role
Our Manager on Duty is central to everything that happens on property. You'll work across every department, serve as the main point of contact for guests, and step into the Banquet Manager role for weddings and specialty events. No two shifts are the same, and that's what makes this role a great fit for someone who loves the pace and variety of hospitality work. This position works evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do
- Serve as the on-property point of contact for guests and departments across every shift, using Banquet Event Orders to stay ahead of needs and keep operations running smoothly
- Coordinate with department heads, oversee staff throughout your shift, and ensure tasks are completed and communicated to the incoming team
- Check in with group leaders, resolve guest issues as they arise, and review invoices before departure
- Inspect rooms and common areas, flag maintenance needs, and hold staff accountable to property and service standards
- For weddings and specialty events, take on the Banquet Manager role, overseeing bar service, kitchen coordination, security, and the guest experience from start to finish
- Lead post-event resets and communicate turnover tasks to the next shift
Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality or event management with working knowledge of front desk, housekeeping, banquets, and food and beverage operations
- Bartending experience and bar setup knowledge strongly preferred
- Must be 21 or older with a clean driving record
- Strong communicator, written and verbal, comfortable managing staff, talking with guests, and coordinating across teams under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent required; event planning certificate a plus
The pay range for this role is:
20 - 26 USD per hour(Sanger, CA)
