About the Opportunity
Big Sky Specialty Compounding is looking for a dedicated, detail-loving, safety-driven Staff Pharmacist for our non-sterile compounding operations in Kalispell, Montana.

What You’ll Do
As a Staff Pharmacist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a top-tier compounding operation. You will:
- Oversee technicians and participate in preparing high-quality non-sterile compounded medications
- Follow USP <795> and USP <800> standards with a strong focus on safety and compliance
- Support QA programs, training, documentation, audits, and equipment upkeep
- Maintain strong safety protocols, including proper PPE use and hazardous drug handling
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and clinical appropriateness
- Support the team to keep workflows running smoothly and continuously improve how we operate
- Partner with clinicians, providers, and patients to deliver safe, effective therapies, always keeping patient needs front and center
- Troubleshoot challenges, think creatively, and find practical solutions
- Bring a positive, adaptable, can-do approach to daily work
What You Bring
- PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited institution
- Active (or eligible) Montana pharmacist license
- Experience in non-sterile compounding, including hazardous drug handling
- Strong working knowledge of USP <795> and <800>
- Excellent communication, organization and customer service skills
- A self-driven mindset, Montana-style work ethic, and a positive, collaborative approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Skills
- Experience in compounding or specialty pharmacy settings
- Familiarity with PK compounding software and QA systems
