Plant Health Care Technician at Ahlum & Arbor Tree Preservation - Columbus – Columbus, Ohio

Our team is hiring a full-time Plant Health Care (PHC) Technician to support the health, safety, and longevity of trees and landscapes across residential and commercial properties in the area. $21 - $26 hourly

• Maintain accurate service records, treatment logs, and client documentation
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides, and soil treatments following safety and environmental guidelines
• Diagnose and treat plant and tree health issues such as pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies
• Work collaboratively with arborists, crew leaders, and PHC managers to deliver high-quality service
• Monitor soil conditions, moisture levels, and overall plant health; recommend improvements as needed

• ISA Certified Arborist preferred; certification support provided if not yet obtained
• Desire for a long-term role with training and advancement opportunities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• 1+ year of experience in plant health care, tree care, or landscape maintenance
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• ODA 6a Pesticide License preferred or willingness to obtain in 6 months
