Security Technician at WILSON FIRE EQUIPMENT & SERVICE CO INC – Jersey Village, Texas

Objective

Provide troubleshooting and repairs on various types of Security systems. Experience with Lenel, Milestone, Honeywell, DSC, and Axis is a plus.

Role and Responsibilities

• Respond, Diagnose, and resolve service/security issues.
• Demonstrate competency in the maintenance and repair of fire alarm, security, access control, and CCTV systems.
• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure, maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
• Solid technical skills and experience related to security systems.
• Solid programming skills and proven to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Works with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Proficient computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications.
• Great communication skills with supervisors, office personnel, and clients
• Familiar with various manufacturers (Lenel, Honeywell, Bosch, Galaxy, etc...)
• Locate and evaluate the client's issues & complete repair

• 2-year minimum in low voltage or security industry
• Valid Drivers license with an outstanding driving record
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening
