EVS Floor Specialist III at CaroMont Health – Gastonia, North Carolina

Job Summary: To maintain floors using techniques and equipment, including but not limited to stripping, waxing, buffing, and scrubbing. To perform a variety of cleaning, janitorial and related duties as required to maintain a hospital building and all assigned areas within the hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition. To move light furniture, equipment and supplies in all work areas as needed, which includes patient rooms, nursing stations, corridors, lounges, bathrooms, nourishment rooms, utility rooms, and offices. Following safety procedures and guidelines during all tasks.

Qualifications: Basic ability to read and understand simple instructions. The ability to follow specific documented procedures. It is preferable to have 3 years of professional floor experience. Some ability to deal tactfully with the public and other hospital personnel. Must have the ability to understand the concept of EVS operations. Must be willing to attend paid classroom training outside the regular schedule.
