JOB TITLE: Quality Coordinator

REPORT TO: Clinical Quality Director
STATUS: Non-Exempt
COMPENSATION:
The pay for this position starts at $22.50 per hour and increases with years of experience.
SUMMARY:
The Quality Coordinator is responsible for supporting the organization’s quality data analytics in partnership with the entire Quality team. Data reporting and streamlining data collection is a key pillar of the Quality Department at PHS and the Quality Coordinator will play a vital role in data collection and validation, ensuring data is being documented correctly in the EHR.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Functions:
· Validating clinical workflows within the EHR for documenting and tracking clinical quality metrics
· Identifying and correcting data documentation issues within the EHR and other data reporting methods
· Assist quality team in data validation for organization improvement and reporting accuracy
· Identify and quantify data issues within the organization and assist in the development of plans to resolve data issues
· Run regular and ad hoc reports as needed in partnership with the Quality Data Team
· Support data submission for all external partners including: PCMH, UDS, payer submissions, etc.
· Monitor Quality Department projects and initiatives like patient communication via the portal and ensuring lab and diagnostic orders are closed out regularly
· Drive improvement of Clinical quality measures- in partnership with the rest of the quality department

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
2 years health care experience required. Clinical experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write clear and concise routine reports and correspondence.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to gain knowledge of
current practice management system, electronic medical record, Microsoft Word, Internet, and Intranet. Must also be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
