Job Title: Part Time Shipping Handler

The Shipping Handler will be assisting the Shipping Manager – Shipping, fulfilling orders for retail stores, implementing new, efficient processes, and other shipping related tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Normal shift hours would be some days Monday through Friday (either 7:00 am – 3:00pm or 8:00 am - 4:00 pm).

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Keep stock organized and easily accessible for shipment
• Execute proper procedures to pack and prepare shipments to maximize efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction
• Utilize pick to cart system to prepare candles for shipment
• Replenish shipping lines of packaging materials to ensure packers can consistently and efficiently ship out orders
• Package wholesale and retail orders securely with aesthetic care
• Ensure retail orders ship in 1 - 2 business days by meeting shipping quotas
• Complete shipping end of day tasks daily
• Collaborate in a team environment that continuously brainstorms new processes to scale operations with the company’s growth
• Exhibit a fast, fun, and friendly attitude toward job responsibilities, co-workers, and supervisors

Secondary Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with weekly assigned cleaning tasks
• Unload pallets of raw materials
• Collaborate with Product Development team to provide feedback on new fragrances
• Support Production team in various candle making tasks as needed
• Participate in behind-the-scenes photos and videos for Antique Candle Co.TM social media engagement and marketing priorities

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds.

Working in an environment with various fragrances and scents.
