About This Position

Description:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications
  • Build and assemble dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and cutting tools
  • Operate machines such as:
  • CNC machines
  • Lathes
  • Milling machines
  • Grinders
  • Repair and maintain worn or damaged tooling
  • Measure parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
  • Test tools to make sure they produce parts correctly
  • Work with engineers to improve designs
Requirements:
  • Strong math and mechanical skills
  • Blueprint reading
  • Precision measurement
  • Problem solving
  • Attention to detail
  • CNC / machining knowledge
  • Metalworking experience
