About the role
- This is a B2B inside sales role within a technical environment, focused on managing complex RFQs, quotations, and orders from initial inquiry through delivery. You’ll act as the key link between customers, outside sales, and internal teams, ensuring all orders meet detailed technical, contractual, and quality requirements.
What you'll do
- Serve as the primary inside sales partner to outside sales, supporting complex B2B quoting, order management, and delivery execution
- Manage the full sales process from RFQ through order entry and delivery, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer specifications
- Evaluate and respond to customer RFQs with varying and often conflicting requirements, ensuring all contractual and technical details are met
- Generate detailed quotations and collaborate with outside sales on key accounts; independently manage quoting for non-key accounts
- Coordinate closely with manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and operations teams to ensure feasibility, compliance, and on-time delivery
- Maintain strict compliance with customer RFQ requirements and SMT quality systems
- Create and manage sales orders, including routing and documentation aligned with customer and production needs
- Actively manage order book performance, tracking delivery status and resolving issues to meet customer-specific quality and delivery expectations
- Lead coordination and resolution of non-conformities, balancing customer requirements with internal capabilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in CRM and other systems, including opportunity tracking and customer records
- Interface with customer web portals for order updates, documentation, and data management
- Support preparation and submission of certifications and required customer documentation
- Analyze sales data and publish metrics (bookings, quotes, order performance)
- Support sales and marketing activities as needed (meetings, events, etc.)
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B inside sales, preferably in manufacturing or a similar environment where coordination between customers and production is critical
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer requirements, conflicting priorities, and detailed contract specifications
- Strong track record of order book management, ensuring orders are executed in line with customer-specific quality and delivery expectations
- Experience working cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and operations teams
- High attention to detail, particularly in quotations, contracts, and order execution
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Important Note
This role is not a customer service position. We are specifically seeking candidates with inside sales experience in complex B2B environments, ideally within manufacturing or closely related industries.
Schedule
- 8AM - 5 PM, with an hour unpaid lunchbreak
- Monday to Friday

The pay range for this role is:
24 - 28.85 USD per hour(Sandy Hook)
