Human Resources Associate – Full Time | $25.00–$28.00/hr | Worcester, MA
Salem Community Corporation (The Briarwood Community) is seeking an experienced Human Resources Associate to join our HR team. This full-time position (40 hours per week) is ideal for a detail-oriented HR professional with hands-on experience in onboarding, recruitment coordination, and HR compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full new hire lifecycle, including onboarding documentation, background checks, and compliance tracking
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates from offer through orientation
Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS and ensure compliance with all recordkeeping requirements
Conduct daily ATS reviews, coordinate interviews, and maintain consistent candidate communication
Maintain organized digital and physical personnel files
Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and HR processes
Assist with Open Enrollment and employee engagement initiatives
Support recruitment events, job fairs, and outreach efforts
Minimum 2 years of Human Resources, recruiting, or related administrative experience (required)
Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (required)
Professional written and verbal English communication skills (required)
Strong understanding of onboarding, compliance, and employee recordkeeping
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Experience in senior living, healthcare, long-term care, or other regulated environments
