SEO Strategist

As an SEO Strategist, you will take the lead in optimizing client websites and digital campaigns to drive organic growth and maximize online visibility. You will analyze performance data, identify opportunities, and implement creative, results-driven strategies tailored to diverse client needs. This role involves collaborating closely with client services teams, project managers, and analysts, providing guidance on SEO best practices, and taking ownership of campaign success. You will leverage a variety of SEO tools to monitor, measure, and improve outcomes while staying ahead of industry trends. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and remote-friendly environment, you will have opportunities to expand your skills, shape client success, and make a measurable impact across multiple projects. Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills will be essential to your success in this role.

Accountabilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of client projects, identifying risks, challenges, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Develop, adapt, and evolve SEO strategies to optimize organic search performance for a diverse client base
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for SEO strategy, providing guidance to internal teams and clients
  • Collaborate with analysts to produce high-quality, actionable deliverables and reports
  • Execute link-building campaigns and other initiatives to enhance client website authority and visibility
  • Cultivate strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, engagement, and retention
  • Utilize SEO and analytics tools to monitor performance, generate insights, and inform strategic decisions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in SEO with a proven track record of successful campaigns
  • Experience managing client relationships and delivering measurable results
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with project management best practices and ability to collaborate effectively in teams
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Deepcrawl, Google Analytics, and Search Console
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for reporting and analysis
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment
