  • Participate in planning and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency.
  • Support high-impact infrastructure projects in sectors such as renewables, energy, and electric utilities.
  • Develop and manage proposals, budgets, schedules, billings, and contracts.
  • Sign and seal plats, field notes and control drawings as required.
  • Establish project management plans and staffing for multiple land survey projects.
  • Participate in local industry networking functions and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Provide support to other internal operational units as needed.
  • Manage project financial performance and provide reporting and updates to leadership.
  • Take ownership of team performance and development with the potential to advance into a Department Manager role.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company’s strategic goals.

  • Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in land surveying with demonstrated project and/or team management responsibilities.
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven success managing large-scale survey projects and project teams.

  • Strong proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Geopak, ORD, and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to clearly state project assignments/deliverables to team members.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentorship and team growth.

  • Ability to manage competing deadlines, solve problems in real-time, and maintain high-quality standards under pressure.
