Affirmed Home Care is seeking experienced Per Diem Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our high-quality clinical team throughout Fairfield County. If you have a passion for pediatric nursing and enjoy building meaningful, long-term relationships with your patients, this role is for you.

About the Role

As an Affirmed Pediatric LPN, you’ll provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric clients with complex medical needs in the comfort of their homes. Our cases allow you to focus fully on your patient—without the chaos of a facility setting.

We are especially interested in nurses with experience caring for medically fragile children, including those requiring tracheostomy and/or ventilator support. Shifts are typically 8–12 hours, offering consistency, flexibility, and the opportunity to truly make an impact.

What You’ll Need

• Minimum 1 year of recent pediatric nursing experience (acute care, PICU, NICU, or home care strongly preferred)
• Trach and Vent experience strongly preferred
• Comfort caring for medically complex pediatric patients
• Willingness to support geriatric cases as needed
• Active Connecticut LPN license
• Current BLS certification
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license
• Physical exam within the past 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year, or chest X-ray within 5 years
