Truck Driver (CDL-A) - 1st shift at Stonewall Kitchen LLC – Dover, New Hampshire

The Truck Driver (CDL-A) is responsible for the transportation of products between Stonewall Kitchen facilities and regional vendors. This position performs systematic inventory movements and utilizes material-handling equipment to load and unload products. In addition, the role requires flexibility and the ability to perform local distribution using box trucks as needed.

JOB SUMMARY

• Load and unload trucks using a pallet jack, forklift, or other appropriate equipment.
• Use a warehouse management device to systematically load and unload products.
• Perform pickups and/or deliveries to and from vendors, Stonewall Kitchen facilities, Stonewall Kitchen Stores, and other locations as directed.
• Perform general maintenance for company vehicles (e.g., check oil, refuel, fill windshield washer fluid, remove snow, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and vehicles throughout the shift and at the end of the shift.
• Complete and maintain daily DOT trucking logs via an Electronic Logging Device (ELD), including required safety inspections.
• Report on any conditions requiring attention to the appropriate department supervisor.
• During slow periods, be willing and able to work in the warehouse environment, operating equipment and performing assigned warehouse duties.
• Shift is Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with mandatory overtime and 6th day as needed.
• $25 per hour

• High school education or equivalent
• A valid CDL Class A driver’s license with clean driving record and no restrictions
• A valid current Medical Examiners Certificate
• Properly enrolled in Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Must submit to and pass random Drug & Alcohol Testing .
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis, twist, bend, reach, squat and climb stairs
• 3 years driving experience Preferred
• Experience with Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) preferred.
• Must be computer literate.

OTHER DUTIES

• Follow all company policies and procedures with regard to safety, including food safety, quality, sanitation, personnel, maintenance, and equipment
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
• May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week periodically as business needs require
