About This Position
We’re excited to announce that we’re hiring Baristas and Shift Supervisors in Training for our new Meridian South Renton location, opening in May 2026!
The Barista Shift Supervisor in Training position is intended for candidates with prior leadership and coffee experience. Please note that training prior to the store opening will take place at our Hotel 116 location in Bellevue, WA.
During the training period, the starting wage will be the Washington State minimum wage of $17.13 per hour. Once our Renton location opens and you begin working there, your pay will increase to the Renton minimum wage of $20.57 per hour. After successfully completing training and stepping into the Shift Supervisor role, you will receive an additional pay increase.
As a Barista Shift Supervisor in Training, you will begin in an entry level Barista role while gaining hands on experience in all aspects of store operations. This position is designed for individuals interested in growing into a Shift Supervisor role at our new location. Along the way, you’ll build the skills needed to grow within our team while helping create an exceptional experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

By providing excellent service, you ensure that every guest receives exactly what they ordered, with quality and consistency. You take pride in your work, staying attentive to details while always remembering to have fun.
Growth Path / Training:
-Start as an entry-level barista and train through all positions.
-Gain experience in daily operations, team collaboration, and leadership responsibilities.
-Complete Open / Close training and Shift Supervisor training to become a Shift Supervisor.
Availability: This is a full time position with open availability to work a variety of shifts. Consistent availability on Saturdays and Sundays is required. Please note that we are not hiring for seasonal positions at this time.

-Consistently prepare high-quality beverages and food items, following all recipe and presentation guidelines.
-Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards for all products.
-Ensure regular, punctual attendance and contribute to team success.
Essential Job Functions:
-Frequently bending, stooping, standing, and walking.
-Consistently using your hands, arms, and wrists.
-Regularly lifting, pushing, and pulling items.
-Engaging with guests and teammates in close physical proximity.
-Occasionally reaching or stretching for items.
-Maintain professional and positive attitude with every guest interaction.
-In-person attendance is required.
Compensation:
-While training in Bellevue $17.13-18.13 per hour, plus tips after completing the training period.
-Once store opens in Renton $20.57 per hour, plus tips
-Additional raise once Shift Supervisor training has been completed.
