JOB TITLE: Warehouse Operations Supervisor (Inventory/Receiving/Shipping)

REPORTING TO: Site General Manager
PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION:
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading and optimizing Libra Industries’ manufacturing warehouse operations, including inventory strategy, accuracy, material flow, kitting, receiving, and shipping to support operational excellence and on-time delivery.
This role owns inventory integrity across raw material, WIP, and finished goods, with a strong focus on ensuring material readiness for production. Additionally, the Warehouse Operations Supervisor manages receiving and shipping execution while driving continuous improvement in systems, processes, and team performance.
This leader ensures the right material is in the right place at the right time — from receipt through internal distribution to production and final shipment — enabling Libra to deliver on our Built to Deliver commitment.
This role requires the ability to operate effectively within current systems while identifying and driving improvements, balancing day-to-day execution with forward-thinking process enhancements.
This is a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment requiring both operational execution and a big-picture, systems-thinking mindset.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Inventory Strategy & Ownership
- Own inventory accuracy and integrity across all material locations
- Establish and drive inventory performance KPIs (accuracy, turns, shortages, cycle count effectiveness)
- Lead inventory planning strategies to support production demand and operational efficiency
- Develop and implement scalable inventory control processes and standards
- Ensure material availability and readiness to support production schedules
Receiving, Material Flow & Shipping
- Oversee all incoming inventory and outgoing finished goods, ensuring accurate, timely, and safe operations
- Manage raw material flow from receiving through production staging and consumption
- Lead and improve kitting processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of kits to production
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in material movement and staging
- Work closely with Production and Supply Chain leadership to ensure material flow supports operational needs
- Serve as the primary liaison with customers’ logistics departments and assigned carriers
Operational Leadership
- Lead and develop the inventory/stockroom, material handling, receiving, and shipping teams
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and accountability aligned with Libra’s Built to Deliver culture
- Maintain visibility to both day-to-day execution and broader operational impact
- Ensure timely and accurate material transactions in ERP system (Macola or equivalent)
Systems, Data & Continuous Improvement
- Drive ERP inventory accuracy and transaction discipline
- Lead cycle count program and annual physical inventory process
- Analyze inventory trends, shortages, and material flow constraints
- Identify and execute process improvements using Lean and continuous improvement principles
- Evaluate current systems and implement scalable, forward-looking improvements
- Implement best practices for material flow, storage, and traceability
Cross-Functional Partnership

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 5+ years of manufacturing warehouse / materials experience (EMS or similar preferred)
- 2+ years leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong experience with raw materials, production support, and material flow
- Experience supporting production environments with material readiness and inventory accuracy
- ERP experience (Macola, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong understanding of inventory control best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- Lean / Six Sigma experience
- Experience improving kitting processes and material flow efficiency
- Background in supply chain, planning, or buying roles (component-level experience preferred)
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or complex manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of component availability, shortages, and production readiness
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to walk manufacturing floor regularly
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
