We’re looking for a Returns Specialist who can analyze discrepancies, manage high-volume returns, and lead teams with the precision of Stark and the strength of Hulk. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Check-in, process and repackage returns
  • Continue to work through discrepancies, analyzing causes and implementing continuous improvement to mitigate discrepancies; communicate to vendors and Receiving
  • Work with computer system to make sure all orders are processed and noted thoroughly
  • Handle costumes to decide the condition it is in and eligibility for refund
  • Check postage and be able to navigate carrier sites (Fed-Ex, USPS, Smart Post, etc.)
  • Determine best practice to get through UK and CA returns if new process is needed-determine and define and implement with temporary staff as needed
  • Analyze return trends and work with QC to make updates on any MBU SKUs as needed
  • Facilitate training all returns team members to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Assist with the plan and subsequently implement returns layout in MN
  • Prepare training material and help create returns training video
  • Train return leads during season to ensure training is consistent and expectations are standardized and set for all seasonal team members hired in returns
  • Ship and handle eBay orders
  • Assist in receiving/inventory/shipping/customer service teams as necessary
  • Maintain an organized environment
  • Oversee an area and seasonal team members (5-50) such as Returns department during peak season
  • Train groups of temporary staff, mentoring them as they learn the roles during their shift
  • Direct temporary staff to applicable work areas as dictated by workload prioritization
  • Offer encouragement and further tips and training to improve temporary employee job satisfaction and performance
  • Offer general guidance and feedback to temporary employees in their day-to-day work

Additional Duties and Responsibilities During Season

When season calls, we all answer as one team. This means you may be called upon to join your colleagues in the warehouse to deliver the monster memories. Warehouse specific job descriptions are available under separate cover.   • Perform other duties as assigned.

Wage: $17.50/hr

Requirements:

Minimum Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred qualifications: (if any)

  • Previous experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
  • Team leadership experience and/or training

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (especially Excel and Word)
  • Proficient with technical programs such as Admin and navigating a web-based environment
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Critical thinking skills according to written guidelines and instructions
  • Ability to visualize an efficient flow of work and implement improvements as needed
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
