We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant will help maintain our many production departments consisting of over 400 CNC machines. The right candidate will have experience in a manufacturing / machine shop and works well under pressure.

Summary

Assist Maintenance Department with different duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment

· Filling lube oil and changing filters

· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

· Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools

· Cleaning Sludge from coolant tanks and changing out argon tanks

· Assist with janitorial duties when necessary

Skills & Qualifications

· Equipment / Shop Maintenance

· Mechanically inclined

· Proficient with power tools

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk covering over 240,000 sq. ft.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Monday-Thursday: 7:30am - 5pm

Friday: 7:30am - 11:30am
