About This Position

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Brand Marketing, the Content Creator plays a critical role in concepting and executing high-level content that gets noticed, engages, and delivers results for the organization. This position impacts critical organizational business priorities and objectives through their leadership of the development of all new creative execution. The Content Creator will interact with all levels within Liberty Bankers Insurance Group and requires high emotional intelligence to manage competing points for view and influence decisions that create positive outcomes. The individual in this role must exercise sound independent judgment to achieve business results and meet organizational demands and priorities.


Responsibilities for this position include:

Brand Persona

  • Work with Marketing to translate brand narrative, persona-based messages, and brand guidelines into content strategy and creation
  • Contribute to the Brand team’s efforts to ensure consistency in the company’s voice, key messages, and editorial style

Editorial & Marketing Content

  • Write, review, and edit short-form and long-form editorial and marketing content
  • Amplify our brand through writing copy for emails, collateral, website, social media, videos, and press releases
  • Conduct interviews and perform market research to learn more about each product line and current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter
  • Develop content strategies for each division and implement a high-level editorial calendar

Proofreader

  • Review documents for grammar, spelling, and style
  • Fact-check for accuracy
  • Confirm all submitted writing is original


Desired Education, Work Experience and competencies:

  • Has 3+ years of experience in creating/writing content
  • Has earned a bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, or a related field
  • Is skilled in writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy
  • Strong presentation skills, both internal and external
  • Requires an individual who has built a solid portfolio, including campaign driven work executed in both print and digital tactics
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustration, Premiere, and InDesign) experience a plus
  • Experience with/willingness to learn project management software
  • Ability to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and able to meet multiple deadlines
  • Understand and embrace a collaborative environment
  • Positive attitude, good collaborator, ego-free
  • Inspiring work ethic
