Coordinator Position Summary

This position performs diversified duties required to organize and coordinate the care of the joint replacement patients at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional and TidalHealth Nanticoke. He/she functions as a liaison between the physicians, nursing staff, allied healthcare professionals, patients and their families. The coordinator will guide the progression of care during the pre-operative phase and through the post-acute phase of care. Responsible in assisting the development and implementation of initiatives to positively impact the quality of patient care. Key accountabilities also include collaboration with the physician champion, program planning, development and implementation of Disease Specific Care initiatives. The Coordinator will provide oversight for outcomes data collection, quality improvement efforts, and focus on data management of key quality indicators. Instrumental in maintaining continuous Joint Commission readiness for Hip and Knee Disease Specific Care Certification.

Coordinator Position Requirements

  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state where you reside.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Orthopedic certification preferred.

Experience

  • Experience in specialty nursing is preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years working with Orthopedic surgical patients is required..

Coordinator Work Schedule

  • Exempt position- Typically day shift Monday-Friday, evening and weekend work as needed.

Coordinator Benefits

  • At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members wor (king at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.

Salary range: $72,072.00 - $115,315.20 Commensurate with experience
