How will YOU MAKE AN IMPACT as a FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN?
Engage with Customers: Handle inquiries and requests via phone and email, determining needs and scheduling service trips.
Provide Accurate Quotes: Gather information on parts requirements, determine lead times and costs, and provide precise quotes.
Travel for Service: Spend approximately 50% of your time traveling to customer sites for service, installation, or warranty work.
Maintain Records: Follow procedures to enter quotes and orders into our CRM system and create/file field service reports.
Contribute to Improvement: Offer feedback and recommendations to the sales and engineering departments for product enhancements.
What do we need from you as a FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN?
Mechanical Aptitude: A strong interest in and ability to work with new technologies.
Communication Skills: Excellent at building relationships and communicating effectively.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to read schematics and blueprints and troubleshoot issues.
Hands-On Skills: Proficient in using hand tools for field service tasks.
Versatility: Capable of working independently and as part of a team, managing multiple assignments.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Preferred: An Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two-year technical college, focusing on repair and maintenance, including pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems.
Alternative: A demonstrated combination of technical experience and training.
