Psychiatric Aide - BONUS ELIGIBLE #8399 at St. Clair Hospital – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Summary

In accordance with established hospital standards, provides assistance to the nursing staff by performing special constant observation, observation rounds, and other duties assigned related to patient and environmental safety issues.

Minimum Qualifications

1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Completion of at least one of the following:
   1. Current enrollment in a professional or practical nursing program or other health-related educational program focused on the delivery of direct patient care with at least three months of experience in an educational clinical setting delivering direct patient care.
   2. Completion of a Pennsylvania state approved Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician educational training program.
   3. At least three months of experience in a clinical setting delivering direct patient care.
   4. Successful completion of an in-house training psychiatric aide training program within the first 30 days of hire.
