POSITION SUMMARY:
As Branch Manager, you will lead all aspects of branch performance, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving branch growth. In addition to managing daily operations, the Branch Manager will spearhead business development and networking initiatives to strengthen CFG Bank’s presence in the local market. Building strong relationships with clients and community partners will be essential to generating new opportunities and fostering long-term success. Regular business hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new branch from the ground up while championing CFG’s commitment to exceptional customer experiences and core company values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Actively manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
• Promote the bank’s products and services by proactively identifying client needs and converting opportunities into meaningful banking relationships.
• Build and strengthen the branch’s presence in the community through consistent engagement at local events and organizations, with flexibility to participate in occasional evening functions.
• Develop and maintain client relationships through community involvement, referrals, and direct interactions.
• Manage and develop branch employees, providing coaching and motivation to achieve goals.
• Ensure compliance with all bank regulatory policies and procedures, including security and audit protocols.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Manage the branch budget and oversee controllable expenses.
• Ensure the branch environment is clean, orderly, and all equipment is in good working condition.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of five years of related management experience and a bachelor’s degree.
• Should have a strong understanding of IRA account structure, rules, and requirements.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to work successfully with the public, and employees across multiple departments.
• Must have basic math skills and demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills.
• Must have effective interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Ability to sell & cross-sell bank products and services effectively.
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to lift office supplies up to 40 lbs. (e.g., Storage boxes, bags of coin, cash box, etc.).
• Must be flexible and willing to assist when needed (covering other branches, work hours etc.).
• Able to perform in any branch position, as needed.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
COMPENSATION DISCLOSURE:
In accordance with Maryland's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, we are committed to providing transparent wage information for all posted job opportunities. The wage range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 annually. Compensation is determined based on factors such as Experience, Qualifications, and Internal equity.
