Affirmed Home Care is actively hiring a Pediatric Scheduling Coordinator for our Rochelle Park, NJ office. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role perfect for someone who enjoys coordinating, problem-solving, and making a real difference in patient care every day.

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 annually (based on experience)

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate schedules for RNs and LPNs across pediatric cases

  • Ensure all cases are fully staffed and running smoothly

  • Handle call-outs, last-minute changes, and urgent coverage needs

  • Communicate with caregivers and families to ensure seamless care

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign nurses to shifts based on availability, skillset, and client needs

  • Maintain accurate, real-time schedules in the system

  • Act as the main point of contact for all scheduling needs

  • Quickly resolve scheduling conflicts and coverage gaps

  • Communicate updates clearly and professionally to staff and clients

  • Ensure all scheduling data and assignments are properly documented

  • Partner with clinical and leadership teams to support quality care delivery

What We’re Looking For
  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred

  • 1–2+ years of scheduling, staffing, or coordinator experience
    (Healthcare, home care, or medical office experience strongly preferred)

  • Experience with scheduling or workforce management systems

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-changing environment
