Production Clerk at Lake Erie Tobacco Company – Kill Buck, New York

The Production Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate and efficient recording of production.

• Accurately and efficiently record production totals in various computer programs.
• Effectively communicate with Production Supervisor and Secondary Manager to ensure correct product and counts.
• Generate and tag product with production lot information.
• Compile and update production reports using various computer programs.
• Utilize scanning and comparison software to verify all product is tagged.
• Move product from production floor to warehouse using motorized pallet jack.
• Occasionally lift/position material up to 50 lbs.
• Wrap finished product with cellophane.
• Keep work area organized and clean.
• Assist in quarantining any Work-in-Progress or partial runs.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient at computer software’s such as word and excel.
• Associates Degree or Certificate in related field preferred.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hour shift.
• Strong safety orientation required.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Preferred tobacco manufacturing experience a plus.
