About the Role:

The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of facility infrastructure by performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks. This position requires hands-on expertise in mechanical, electrical, and structural systems to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions promptly. The technician will be responsible for maintaining plumbing systems, electrical wiring, and mechanical equipment to prevent downtime and extend the life of facility assets. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to minimize risks and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Ultimately, the Maintenance Technician contributes to a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that supports the overall productivity of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in maintenance work involving plumbing, electrical wiring, mechanical repair, and carpentry.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately.
• Physical ability to climb ladders and perform manual labor.
• Good hearing and verbal communication skills to understand instructions and interact with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems.
• Experience working in a commercial or industrial facility environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards related to maintenance work.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems.
• First aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and structural components.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to mechanical equipment, plumbing leaks, electrical faults, and drywall damage.
• Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure repairs and installations meet exact specifications and quality standards.
• Safely climb ladders and access elevated areas to conduct maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to report issues, coordinate repairs, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
