Summary:

The Steward / Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all kitchen equipment, dishes, and work areas. This role is essential to supporting our chefs and service team in delivering an exceptional dining experience to every guest.

This position requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a strong sense of teamwork in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, flatware, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized dish station throughout the shift
• Expedite clean plates and utensils to the cook line and service areas as needed
• Assist with cleaning food prep areas and kitchen surfaces
• Remove trash and recycling during and at the end of shift
• Clean and properly store floor mats
• Support overall kitchen sanitation standards in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with chefs and team members to ensure smooth service flow
