About the role

GP Motor Company is seeking a reliable and motivated Lot Technician to support day-to-day dealership operations. This role is responsible for vehicle movement, basic vehicle preparation, and assisting multiple departments to ensure inventory is ready for sale. The ideal candidate is dependable, works well in a team environment, and can keep pace in a fast-moving dealership setting.

What you'll do

• Move and stage vehicles for customers, sales staff, and display needs
• Assist with basic vehicle preparation, including detailing and minor part replacement
• Take photos of vehicles for online listings
• Drive vehicles to and from service centers as needed
• Unload transport trucks and check in new inventory
• Run dealership errands and support operational needs
• Maintain organization of the lot and vehicle inventory
• Assist with general tasks to support daily dealership operations

Qualifications

• Previous dealership or automotive experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles preferred
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
• Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet throughout the day
• Willingness to complete a background check in compliance with state laws

Compensation
