Industrial Maintenance Mechanic C - Day Shift at Gunderson Marine – Portland, Oregon

SUMMARYAssist other maintenance personnel in preventative maintenance, repair and Servicing equipment assignments. Retrieve and deliver tools, parts and supplies as directed. Order parts and supplies when needed. Perform repetitive small hand tool inspections and repairs.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe following duties are typical for this role. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices.* Assist other maintenance personnel in preventative maintenance, repair and servicing equipment assignments* Learn how to safely operate various Ariel man lifts and scissor lifts during the repair process* Perform data entry of all repairs and servicing* Order parts by using technical manuals and catalogs* Work under the guidance of a Maintenance Mechanic “A” and “B”, Lead person or Foreman
QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesThe following generally describes requirements to enter the job and/or be learned within a short period to successfully perform the assigned duties.* Ability to learn how to use equipment such as hoists, cranes, forklifts, woodworking, metalworking equipment, and power and hand tools in a safe manner* Ability to understand and comply with all parts ordering and issuing procedures* Must demonstrate knowledge and ability to use a tape measure* Possess a moderate level of mechanical aptitude
Experience and Education* Valid Driver's License

CompensationThe base pay range for this role is $21 – $26 per hour.
