About This Position

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs skilled secretarial, clerical and general office work essential to the operations of the department. Requires good working vocabulary of general, technical, medical and legal terms. Complies with instructions from the Chief of Police, Lieutenant Police Admin/Support, Access Control Coordinator or designee in a prompt and efficient manner. Provides a wide variety of customer services for both internal and external customers of the department.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Graduation from high school or equivalency is required. Some college attendance is preferred. Six months secretarial/ general office experience is preferred. Experience in a hospital and/or law enforcement environment is preferred.
